We’re just getting started. A fresh new feel — and a whole lot more — is on the way. Everything the big apps don’t stock.
Report a product

See something off? Tell us.

If a product on Foodjin doesn't look halal, lists an ingredient you don't trust, or carries a certifier you'd like us to look into, report it in the Foodjin app โ€” your report is tied to the exact product and vendor, and we look into it with the vendor.

๐Ÿ“ฑ
Fastest path

Open the product in the app โ†’ tap "Report"

The in-app flow auto-attaches the vendor, the item, your verified halal preferences, and the certification badge in question โ€” no copy-paste, no missing context. Reviewers get back to you in the same thread.

What we look into

Pick the concern that best matches yours when you file. Every category routes to a reviewer trained for it.

โ˜ช
Halal concern
Wrong certifier, suspect source, cross-contamination risk, or mislabeled ingredient.
โš
Allergen mismatch
Hidden nuts, dairy, gluten, or anything else missing from the listed allergen panel.
๐Ÿ“…
Quality or freshness
Item arrived expired, damaged, or visibly different from the listing photo.
๐Ÿ“
Listing accuracy
Wrong price, wrong weight, missing ingredient panel, or misleading description.

How to report in the app

Reporting from the Foodjin app attaches the exact vendor, item, and order automatically, and sends your report straight to the vendor and our halal team.

1

Get the Foodjin app

Download it from the App Store or Google Play (buttons above) and sign in.

2

Open the product

Find it on the vendor's page, or open the order it came in.

3

Tap "Report"

Use the report option in the product's "โ€ฆ" menu.

4

Pick a reason & submit

Choose halal concern, allergen, quality/safety, or listing accuracy, add details or a photo, and send. You'll get a confirmation in the same thread.

โš  Health emergencies first. If you suspect food poisoning, an allergic reaction, or any other urgent medical issue, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately.

No app, or an urgent halal concern? Email halal@foodjin.org with the vendor name, the product, your order number (if any), and what's wrong. Photos help.

What happens after you report

1

We confirm receipt

You'll get an in-app message or email confirming your report was received.

2

We share it with the vendor

We pass your concern to the vendor (your details stay private) and ask them to respond with documentation, sourcing notes, or a correction. Vendors are responsible for their products and the accuracy of their halal claims.

3

We act on what we find

Depending on the outcome, the listing may be corrected, paused, or removed. Halal concerns are reviewed by our halal team before the report is closed, and we'll let you know.
