We’re just getting started. A fresh new feel — and a whole lot more — is on the way. Everything the big apps don’t stock.
The Foodjin promise

How we verify
every vendor.

Every Jin on Foodjin proves halal status before they're allowed to sell. This page shows how vendors prove their status, what we ask them to upload, and how the community can flag anything that doesn't look right.

How a vendor proves halal status

Same four-step process for every Jin, food or non-food. We don't take shortcuts — even on cold-pressed olive oil, the audit is the same.

STEP 1
Recognized certificate
Vendor uploads a current halal certificate from a recognized certification authority. Must be issued in the last 12 months and tied to the legal entity selling on Foodjin.
STEP 2
Source trace
For meat & poultry: the slaughterhouse / processing plant must also be certified. For grocery: ingredient sources for every SKU. For clothing & service: an attestation only — no animal products, no haram processes.
STEP 3
On-site audit
First 30 days after going live, a Foodjin field auditor visits the kitchen / warehouse / facility unannounced. We document what's actually being prepared and confirm it matches the certificate.
STEP 4
Community flagging
Every Foodjin vendor profile has a "Flag halal concern" button. Five independent flags trigger an immediate audit and the Jin is paused until cleared. Re-verification is required annually for every vendor.

See something? Say something.

If you ordered from a Foodjin Jin and have a concern about the halal status, tell us. We pause the vendor and re-audit before anyone else can order. Five independent flags trigger an automatic pause — no questions, no benefit of the doubt.
